BEIJING–(BUSINESS WIRE)–CSOFT International, a leading provider of global communication services and localization solutions, has kicked off its 13th Annual Summit with a twist. This year, 250 CSOFTers of 28 nationalities and 10 teams are unplugging and heading into the wild grasslands of China. Partnering with WildChina, CSOFTers will boldly go where no CSOFTer has gone before, embarking to the Flying Fox Valley Air Grasslands on an “Amazing Race” and unforgettable journey.
This year’s Annual Summit will also feature extensive training and alignment sessions at CSOFT’s Beijing Headquarters, as well as an exciting Startup Competition. CSOFT’s executive management team selected their best and brightest group of upcoming young leaders, and asked them to pitch their startup ideas to a panel of judges. Following the competition, CSOFTers will travel to the grasslands to face team competitions and challenges in the “Amazing Race”.
“Aligned with CSOFT leaders, we have created a truly unforgettable journey for their international team. The CSOFTers who embark on this adventure will have an experience of China unlike any other,” said Owen Morris, Director of Education Travel at WildChina, a company that provides a unique, authentic, and customized travel experience.
The move towards an innovative new Summit symbolizes the company’s strategic push into the forefront of the global communications industry. “CSOFT is at the frontier of the megatrend,” CSOFT Founder & CEO, Shunee Yee, addressed her global team at the Summit kickoff. By embracing the rise of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology, CSOFT is positioned for new growth and new opportunities in the China market and worldwide, partnering with many multinational top Chinese brands like Alibaba, Huawei, DiDi, and NetEase, while continuing to bridge the cultural gap for Western companies like GE, ITW, AMD, Carestream, and more. The company has been building a base of young, vibrant, and multicultural talent in recent years, with a core leadership team averaging in their 30s, to take on the changes that await the industry.
CSOFT is heeding the call of visionary entrepreneurs like Alibaba’s Jack Ma, who recently exhorted 3,000 entrepreneurs at the Gateway 17 conference in Detroit to “Embrace the change. See the future. Change yourself.” Yee has remained in step with this philosophy consistently. In Wednesday’s management alignment meeting, she said, “CSOFT’s competitive advantage has always been culture. We were there at the dawn of the localization industry, and we will be the ones to spark this new revolution in China. Chinese companies are growing up and looking to push the boundaries of possibility, and we will be right there beside them.
